Easter

Once again the malls pull out the little spring decorations and hire santas to put on the bunny suit and let kids hunt for easter eggs. Come on people, get real, bunnies, eggs. Has everyone( except for poor old jp2(the pope)) forgotten the truth about easter? The "Easter Bunny" and his "Easter Eggs" only represent the fertility of this day. The truth is suposely Jesus came back from the dead(dawn of the dead midevil style) and showed he was the "true" son of "god". If you ask me for my theory, I think that Christmas and easter are the same day. After all wouldn't you come back to life on your b-day. Also for years i recieved these baskets of candy and racecar toys and sports balls. And sucked down delicious jello molded eggs and cadbury creme egg omlets(just kidding. i'd never cook creme eggs). But i offten wondered if this is the only way to get kids to celebrate a holiday. was the whole point not covered up in bunnies and candy? This is why i write these blogs.

St. Patrick's day

Ah yes, St. Patrick's day. The day that says you wear green or get your skin pealed off little by little. The day were jackasses paint their pools green. But do any of you know what this "St.'s day" is about? A popular answer is St. Patrick cleared all the snakes off the island of Ireland. This is sorta maybe kinda right. No I'm sorry if you believe this go slap your self. Instead it's a racist metaphor for clearing the island of the classic Celtic religion. Let me clarify. St. Patrick is a "saint" therefore he follows the catholic religion. Ireland is now half catholic. Any of the Celtic religion left? No. So as you put on your garmets of green remember you're all racist for celebrating this holiday
